Transfer Process:
Vacation Services International prepares all the necessary transfer documents including, but not limited to a deed (assuming the timeshare is deeded property) and sending the documents out to you with very specific instructions regarding how to execute the documents. After receiving the documents, complete them properly, and return them to our office. We will do the rest and of course contact us if you have any questions during the entire process.
When the recorded Deed is returned to our office, a copy of the recorded deed is mailed or emailed to you for confirmation that you are released from your unwanted or unused timeshare. We will then send a copy of the recorded deed to the resort and/or management company to advise them that there has been a change in ownership so they can update their records.
On average, the transfer process normally takes 90 to 120 days to complete.

What are the transfer requirements?
- To be eligible your timeshare property must be paid in full.
- No mortgage, maintenance fees, taxes, or special assessments owed.
- All fees associated with ownership of said resort will be the responsibility of the current owner until the transfer is completed. This includes maintenance fees, taxes and special assessments.
