Nestled amongst many eclectic shops, eateries, and beaches the Courtyard Resort is the ideal place to relax and take a trip to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket. The boarding dock to the ferries is a short walking distance from your room. There is a high speed ferry available for a faster voyage or quick day trip.
Take a walk down Main Street and visit the many boutiques, gift shops, and art galleries. Enjoy something to eat at any of the restaurants, cafes, bakeries, or ice cream shops. Candy Corner, always a favorite, is located right at the front of our building.
You may take a short drive to Craigsville Beach or any number of nearby pristine beaches where you can relax on the sand or swim in the surf. Nearby is the Cape Cod Mall, for shopping, dining, or a movie at the cinema. Not very far from the Mall is the Cape Cod Potato Chip factory. ( Free ) self-guided tours are available and complimentary chips are given to each visitor.
Take the kids (or just be a kid at heart) and head to one of the many mini-golf courses. For more serious athletes, drive on over to the Hyannis Golf Course for a round of golf. Across the street from the Courtyard is the Hyannis Duck Tour Office (seasonal) and Ryan’s Amusement Center.
In the evening you may find street performers at nearby locations. Check locally with the Cape Cod Times for various events depending on which week you are visiting. Hyannis offers the Cape Cod Melody Tent about a mile away, with live performances of big name entertainment on many summer evenings.
